The mission of The Society of Rheology is to expand the knowledge and practice of rheology through education, partnership and collaboration
with associated fields, industries, and organizations, as well as to disseminate to diverse communities what rheology is, and how it impacts
humanity and the world. To achieve this mission, The Society of Rheology is committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion among all
of our members, as well as more broadly throughout the field of rheological sciences and practice of rheology. Through our actions, we strive
to value and respect all individuals, regardless of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender and gender identity,
physical appearance and ability, socioeconomic background, region, and immigrant, military, or veteran status. This value and respect is also
not contingent on discipline, employment sector or educational status. The Society of Rheology also seeks to understand and remove barriers to
diversity, equity and inclusion in our community, as well as obstacles to professional growth and advancement of our membership.
