Technical Program & Organizers
The Society of Rheology 96th Annual Meeting will have thirteen thematic sessions, a mini session featuring Future of Rheology speakers, a poster session (which includes the annual Student/Post-doc Poster Competition),
and the Gallery of Rheology Contests for Images and Videos. The plenary lectures will be given by
Amy Shen
(Micro/Bio/Nanofluidics Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology),
Lakshminarayanan Mahadevan
(Department of Physics, Harvard University) and the 2025 Bingham Medalist.
A presentation will also be given by the 2025 Metzner Awardee.
Authors should submit an abstract by Friday 16 May 2025 using the
SoR Abstract Submission Web App.

The organizers are:
Poster Session
Prospective presenters must submit abstracts online
by Friday 15 August 2025.
Poster presenters will have an area of ? inches tall by ? inches wide to attach each poster to; push pins will be provided.
Participants of the Student/Post-Doc Poster Competition
must upload the PDF files of their posters by
Friday 12 September 2025.

Prospective presenters of the Gallery of Rheology Contests must first submit abstracts online by Friday 15 August 2025
and then upload the files of their posters or videos at the corresponding upload sites by the deadlines specified below..
Image Session
Presenters should upload the PDF files of their posters by Friday 10 October 2025.
