Meeting Registration Info
In response to the strong sentiment expressed in the recent SoR membership survey, full vaccination
will be required for in-person attendance at the meeting. We will be distributing masks with filters to all attendees.
We are working now on the details of the vaccination policy and attestation procedure. Please be on the lookout for updates by email and on the Bangor meeting website on this process,
as well as on other precautionary measures such as masking and physical distancing where possible. If you are unable to meet these requirements,
please consider participating in the virtual program and we will look forward to seeing you in Chicago in 2022.
Registration for the in-person conference includes access to all technical sessions and the vendor display, the program booklet,
receptions, and coffee breaks. The registration fee does not include the Banquet, which is subject to limited seating.
Please indicate the number of tickets you are purchasing for this event. Registration fee and cost of banquet ticket are in U.S. dollars.
Payment must be made online with MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
For SoR members who cannot attend the in-person conference due to pandemic-related restrictions, we are offering the following online events:
Streaming of the plenary sessions and the Society business meeting.
Online interactive discussion with presenters of pre-recorded talks (Track 7 Monday – Wednesday in parallel with first technical session of the day).
Online networking and one-on-one discussions during coffee break and lunch through Gather.Town platform.
Participation in the Gallery of Rheology Contest (abstract submission deadline is August 13th).
Participation in the Pre-recorded Flash Presentations virtual session (abstract submission deadline is August 13th).

The virtual program is free for SoR members (non-members are of course welcome to
join SoR). However, registrations (click on the button below)
will be required and the deadline is October 1, 2021.

- Beef: Fillet mignon served with gorgonzola and bacon cream sauce with herb-crusted baby red potatoes and lemon thyme glazed asparagus.
- Chicken: Statler breast served over parmesan rosemary risotto with garlic ginger roasted tri-color carrots.
- Fish: Wild-caught salmon with apple cider glaze served over royal rice blend and herbed zucchini medallions.
- Vegan: Crispy tofu with Dijon maple glaze over a bed of spiced butternut squash and roasted Brussels sprouts.
* For precautionary social distancing, the number of banquet attendees will be limited to 120. We are working with the staff of Cross Insurance
Center to provide the safest environment for banquet attendees. Six-foot round tables will be spaced six feet apart. Five place settings will be placed on each table.

will be subject to a $40 administrative charge. No refunds will be granted after that date.
