SOR Statement on Anti-Asian Racism  (03-24-2021)

Dear Society of Rheology Members:

The Society of Rheology condemns all acts of anti-Asian racism. In light of recent increases in such acts, as well as concerns about potential ethnic profiling of Asian scholars in the US, the Society reaffirms its commitment to the words of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement: "Through our actions, we strive to value and respect all individuals, regardless of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender and gender identity, physical appearance and ability, socioeconomic background, region, and immigrant, military, or veteran status."

The Society of Rheology encompasses students, scholars and industrial practitioners from across the world, and the more generously we welcome all who wish to contribute to the SOR community, the more our community will flourish.
