Contest Description
In conjunction with the regular Poster Session, The Society of Rheology is sponsoring the Gallery of Rheology Contests (Image and Video sessions) to highlight the visually
striking aspects of research in our community. Posters or prints with images of deformation, flow, material structure, and other work that emphasizes
visually engaging aspects of rheology are appropriate. Video submissions will also be accepted.
The Gallery of Rheology Contests posters and videos will be displayed in a designated area throughout the meeting. Videos will also be avaiable at registrant-only pages of the meeting web app. To compete,
submit abstract to the Gallery of Rheology Sessions: Image or Video
by Friday 15 August 2025.
Image entrants will also need to submit a digital copy of their entry
through the Gallery of Rheology Contest Image Upload Site
by Friday 10 October 2025. For the meeting, bring a hardcopy that is no larger than 2 ft in width and 3 ft in height.
For video entrants, upload your video files through the Gallery of Rheology Contest Video Upload Site
by Friday 3 October 2025.

Submission Guidelines
To participate in the contest, entrants must following the following guidelines:

Entrants must submit abstracts of their entries through the normal web-based abstract submission
for the Gallery of Rheology Contest sessions by Friday 15 August 2025.

Image entrants need to submit digital copies of their entries through the
Gallery of Rheology Contest Image Upload Site
by Friday 10 October 2025. The digital copy must be a PDF file not more than 40 MB.
The PDF file should be at least 600 dpi at a size of 8.5 in x 11 in (portrait), i.e. at least 5100 pixels width by 6600 pixels height. The submitted digital
copy should be identical to the hard copy brought to the meeting. The hardcopy brought to the meeting should be
no larger than 2 ft in width and 3 ft in height. This is a smaller size (about half size) than
the posters in the Poster Session. The 2-ft horizontal limit is very important, as this is required to fit two posters on a single display board.

Video entrants should submit their video files through the
Gallery of Rheology Contest Video Upload Site
by Friday 3 October 2025. The video file must be in MP4 format
and must not be more than 30 MB. Keep the video resolution to 1080p/2K or smaller,
use the H.264 video codec (most common), and maintain a frame rate of at least 23.98 fps.
