Technical Program & Organizers

The Society of Rheology 90th Annual Meeting will have thirteen thematic sessions, a poster session (which includes the annual Student/Post-doc Poster Competition), and the Gallery of Rheology Contest. The plenary lectures will be given by Wilson Poon (School of Physics and Astronomy, The University of Edinburgh), Lynn Walker (Department of Chemical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University) and the 2018 Bingham Medalist, Michael Rubinstein (Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, Duke University). A presentation will also be given by the 2018 Metzner awardee, Thibaut Divoux (CNRS and the joint CNRS-MIT MSE²).

Authors should submit an abstract by May 18, 2018 using the SoR Abstract Submission Web App. The planned sessions and the corresponding chairs are given below.

Poster Session

Prospective presenters must submit abstracts online by August 17, 2018. Poster presenters will have an area of 48 inches wide by 48 inches tall to attach each poster to; push pins will be provided.

Participants of the Student/Post-Doc Poster Competition must upload the PDF files of their posters by September 21, 2018.
