General Information

In response to the strong sentiment expressed in the recent SoR membership survey, full vaccination will be required for in-person attendance at the meeting. We will be distributing masks with filters to all attendees. We are working now on the details of the vaccination policy and attestation procedure. Please be on the lookout for updates by email and on the Bangor meeting website on this process, as well as on other precautionary measures such as masking and physical distancing where possible. See COVID-19 safety precautions. Also see Security Policy at Cross Insurance Center. If you are unable to meet these requirements, please consider participating in the virtual program and we will look forward to seeing you in Chicago in 2022.

Please note that the Annual Meeting is being planned as an in-person conference, while maintaining safety and social distancing measures. However, we know that pandemic-related limitations exist. Hence, we are offering a virtual program for members who cannot attend. The virtual events include live streaming of the plenary sessions, live streaming of the Society business meeting, participation in the Gallery of Rheology Contest and the Pre-recorded Flash Presentations virtual session, and live morning networking and discussion sessions. See the Meeting Registration Info page for details.
