Text of Abstract
These images showcases scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with a cutting-edge cryogenic system, revealing an water-in-oil emulsion made from crude oil and brine water. By sublimating the water, we uncover the intricate network of residual salt crystals, offering a unique glimpse into the hidden world of emulsions. These images, captured at various magnifications, not only highlight the salt's structure but also provide valuable insights into how the organization of droplets impacts the emulsion's rheology.
