The Autumn 1999 meeting of The Society of Rheology will be held at the Monona
Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin, October 17 to 21,
1999. The meeting is hosted by the Rheology Research Center. For more information,

Registration
|
|
The registration fee includes the meeting program booklet containing the abstracts of
the papers. Registration also entitles you to attend the technical program, the plenary
lectures, the Bingham Award Address, the social events and the poster session. For an
additional cost, you can attend the Bingham Award Banquet on Tuesday evening. Please
purchase tickets for the banquet prior to the meeting using the meeting registration form.
The meeting registration form should
be completed in full and mailed along with your payment to the address listed on the form.
Payment by check or money order should be made payable to UW-Extension. If you choose to
pay by VISA or Mastercard, you may do so by faxing the form to (608) 265-3163.
Registration materials received after September 17th will incur the late fee. On-site
registration will be held on Sunday, October 17th, from 6 to 9 PM, in the 4th floor
Registration Booth area. Registration will continue each day, Monday through Thursday,
beginning at 8 AM.

Welcoming Reception
|
|
A welcoming reception hosted by a sponsor will be held on Sunday, October 17th, from 7
to 10 PM in the Grand Terrace (4th floor).

Society Reception
|
|
A sponsor will host a reception on Monday, October 18th, from 7 to 9 PM in the
Community Terrace (2nd floor) .

Business Luncheon
|
|
All attendees are encouraged to attend the business luncheon of The Society of
Rheology, to be held on Monday, October 18th, from 12 to 1:30 PM in the Grand Terrace.

Society Business Meeting
|
|
All attendees are encouraged to attend the annual business meeting of The Society of
Rheology on Tuesday, October 19th. This meeting will start at approximately 5:30 PM in one
of the Sections of the Hall of Ideas.

Bingham Award Banquet
|
|
A sponsor will host a reception in the Grand Terrace - East beginning at 7 pm on
Tuesday, October 19th, prior to the Bingham Award Banquet. The Banquet will be held in the
Madison Ballroom A-B (4th floor). Dinner will be served at 8 PM.

Poster Session
|
|
A sponsor will host a reception in conjunction with the Poster Session on Wednesday,
October 20th. This event will start at the conclusion of the technical session. Posters
will be displayed in the Grand Terrace.

Exhibits
|
|
Vendors will demonstrate their products in Hall of Ideas E-F. Coffee and refreshments
will be served in this room.
