The conference hotels for the Congress are the Portola Hotel & Spa and the Monterey Marriott. The hotels are connected to the Monterey Conference Center, where the Congress will take place. Both are close to the famous Old Fisherman’s Wharf and are within walking distance to Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Reservation cutoff date for both hotels is Monday, July 14, 2008. However, some rooms may still be available at the Reservation Website for ICR.

Portola Hotel & Spa

Conference room rates are $219 plus 10.05% tax (single or double occupancy). Each additional adult is $20. Children 18 years and under are free. Daily parking for hotel guests is $15 for self parking and $18 for valet parking.

At the reservation website, enter only the number of adults in the “Max. guests per room” box. Do not include children 18 years or under, despite the “including children” instruction.

Monterey Marriott

Conference room rates are $223 plus tax (single, double, triple, or quad occupancy). Each additional person (above quad occupancy and within fire code) is $20. Suites are available at $300 - $1,000 per night. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 10%) plus tourism fee (currently $0.16) and County Tourism Assessment fee (currently $1.00) in effect at the time of check in. Valet parking for overnight guests is currently $19 per day.

Public Parking

The East Custom House Garage is three blocks from the Conference Center and offers daily parking for a $5 flat entry fee.
